What do I know?:
The genesis and basic structure of the tune is from a friend Steve Cohen, who also has his version on his soundcloud. Niko and I played on that version, but it always needed more in my opinion . Steve was kind enough to let me have my "The Cars"-ish powerpoppy way with it, and here it is. Steves innate genius sometimes blows me away and so glad to know a local force like him. I changed some lyrics which he was a good sport about it. The tune worked for me and is fun to play/sing, especially with the SECRET MYSTERY C-chord from hell ! A hallmark of the tunes' DNA.
A big shout out into the ether to Ben Orr and Ric & the band, truly a band's band...The Cars! God, wish I was pals with Elliot so he could have handled that lead in his way! lol
